Located at the end of Andrássy Avenue, Budapest’s largest square was built to commemorate Hungary’s 1000-year-old history. The Millennium Monument is a visual introduction to the country's history by itself. The two colonnades display the country’s most significant historical figures, while the central piece portrays the Seven Chieftains that led the Hungarian tribes into the Carpathian Basin, location of today’s Hungary.
