Fisherman’s Bastion
Completed in 1902, the fairy-tale-like Fisherman's Bastion is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Budapest. Designed in Neo-Gothic and Neo-Romanesque style, it serves as a lookout tower for some of the most beautiful panoramic views of the Hungarian capital. The landmark has seven turrets representing the seven tribes that settled in the Carpathian Basin and founded present-day Hungary in 895.
